some people have children when the world is clearly ending
they don't do it to be unkind
either they have a firm belief that the world isn't ending
or they forgot and it's too late to rewind
sometimes you look at some guy's birth date
in the middle of plague and unrest
and you think why the hell did those people not stay celibate
didn't they realize it was for the best
so others will think of your great-grandkid's kids
that is of course if they survive
the earth is a graveyard as big as the earth
that's the trouble with being alive
